PSS Medical Sales Representative Career

Qualifications:

In order to be considered for a sales position with PSS, you must:

  • Have a Bachelor's Degree and/or extensive job related experience
  • Be willing to relocate ANYWHERE within one of PSS's four regions.
    Location unknown at the point of hire - candidates will train for 12-16 weeks and subsequently receive a territory where the company has a need

Type of Work:

PSS is known among the industry for their consultative sales force. They enjoy entrepreneurial-like responsibilities selling medical supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals to physician's practices. Our team of over 600 Sales Representatives is consistently making "every decision with only the customer in mind".

Training:

Selected candidates are provided with a 12-16 week comprehensive training that begins at the distribution center level. Learning all aspects of the business, starting with the warehouse, moving through the ranks to customer deliveries, customer service, purchasing, accounts receivables, shadowing Sales Representatives, etc. In addition, you are responsible for a weekly lesson, test, and role-play. Spending a week of "Sales Development" Class at our corporate headquarters will complete your training.

Compensation:

Compensation is commission based, allowing an individual to be rewarded for his/her performance. As a new Sales Representative, you will be paid a salary for fourteen months, converting to full commission on the fifteenth month. Potential for promotional opportunities based on individual results.
